Step by step: download your first file
1. Select product
Products → click card / row.
2. Choose variant
Each product may have several variants (e.g. different sizes or SKUs). Select a variant.
3. Choose format
Several files can be stored per variant (STL + 3MF + STEP). Click the desired format.
4. Download
The file is delivered immediately via a signed URL (valid 1 hour, with auth + tenant check). In the background an entry is written to download_logs (with customer ID, GDPR-compliant, no IP). If the package defines max_downloads_per_month, a quota is shown, but it is currently informational only — downloads are not hard-blocked when the quota is reached.
3D preview
Currently not built in. The product detail page shows a file list per variant with a format badge (STL, 3MF, STEP, F3D, OBJ, GCODE) and a download button. A native in-browser 3D preview is a Phase 2 item. Reason: STL/3MF cannot be rendered with <model-viewer> (which only supports GLB/GLTF), and a Three.js STL loader adds 200+ KB of bundle cost for a feature that is not central to the licensees' workflow (slicer software) anyway.
Recommended workflow: download the file → open it in your slicer (PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, Cura) → check it visually before printing.
Search & filter
Search
Full-text search in product name + description.
Categories
Multi-select from metadata.category of all products.
Compatibilities
Multi-select from compatibility[] of all products. E.g. "AC Infinity" or "Bambu Lab".
Bulk export
If you need not single files but the whole catalog (for Shopify import etc.), use the product feed export. You find the button "↓ Feed exportieren" at the top right of the Products page, next to the grid/list toggle.
Frequent questions
Why don't I see a product I expected? Your package has restricted access (see package detail in your account). The provider admin can adjust this.
File size? STL: typically 1-50 MB. 3MF: more compact (multi-material data + print settings). The browser download streams directly from Supabase Storage.
How many downloads per month? Depends on the package. A quota may be shown for your package, but it is currently not enforced as a hard block.
Can I send print files directly to my printer? Not yet. Direct printing is in preparation and ships with the licensio agent (see Printers).
Are the print settings (material, nozzle temp etc.) passed along with the file? With 3MF yes (Bambu Studio compatible). With STL: separate print profile display in the product tab.
